We only breed our dams once a year because we feel that skipping a heat cycle makes for happier, heather, mothers and puppies.Our mothers are played with and are in contact with us as much as possible. Test have showed that by petting a mother while she is pregent helps to make the puppies heather and mentaly sounder. We start to handle our puppies at about one to two days of age when we take them to the veterinarian to get there tails docked and dewclaws removed. We then handle them as much as possiable and interduce them to all kinds of people young and adult we also breed peek-a-poos
